About Zionists And Their Apologists

I sympathize with the pain of Israelis who lost friends, family and citizens on October 7, but with all due respect, I must say to those still trumpeting the empty, silent notes of “defense” as they annihilate the Palestinians, nobody is justifying the activities of October 7. What apologists for Israel are conflating when they claim anti-Zionists are anti-Semitic is justification and understanding.

If a nation is brutally occupying a people — at least a small number of those occupied people are going to do things similar to what happened on October 7. That’s not justification or defense of it; that’s understanding it. And if a nation attempts to address terrorism with terrorism — he or she is not going to have many sympathizers, unless they are compromised and benefiting from the terror of the genocide being meted out against the oppressed.

Zionists (and that’s what they people are if they defend this unchecked aggression by Israel) argue that the Palestinians are taught Jihad and hate in their schools (as if that would justify the transgressions of the Israeli Defense Force); how could one expect otherwise? Of all the lily-white intentions we could hold in our loving hearts, the groups least likely across the span of human history to be pacifist or even fair enough to exhibit any semblance of such— would be those brutally oppressed.

From what I understand, young Israelis are taught that ‘non-Israelis’, ‘foreign migrants’, live in Gaza and the West bank-and that those regions — depicted on text-book maps — are not labeled reflecting their legal titles; I have also learned that the military education of conscripts is presided over by a director who is a self-proclaimed “racist” though different races don’t exist among humans, technically0; and that he thinks Hitler was right. Surprise, surprise.

Insofar as there might be a lesson in hate that the Palestinians apprehend — I would submit it is not in the abstract nature of what could be cynically gleaned from militant parts of the Quran or Hadith; that’s academic and non-material—but rather it is in the demoralizing and horrible reality of their daily lives, which is largely the fault of the Israeli occupation — in addition to that of the actions of Hamas.

The people who committed the horrible acts of October 7 probably lost multitudes of their own family members — against a backdrop of a day-to-day of existence of brutal, crippling and mental-illness-fostering misery, neglect, abuse, humiliation and disrespect — under the thumb of Israel, a state that was begun with the horrid Nazi-esque terror and murder of the Zionist Stern Gang, Irgun and Haganah brigades — perpetrated from 1948 — which wanted most of Palestine, but was willing to settle for 54~56 % of it, while having no compunction in taking that much (and winding up with 80% of it) … instead of with a smaller part, which should have matched the original 8% population that was Palestinian Jewish (of the then 28% of the actual population due the massive border problems incurred by their exodus from Europe)… or they could have settled for a logical 30 to 50%? This was unjust — and, what I have come to call the stupidest geo-political decision in the history of the human primate, for the obvious reasons evident in what it wrought. Who would have guessed? Anyone intelligent and not religiously maniacal.

What Is taught in their schools — in order to justify this theft and brutal occupation (I alluded to it above) — or in the the election of a right wing lunatic like Netanyahu and his entitled hubris-oozing Likud regime extremists — similar to the election of the fascist lunatics of militant Jihad in Hamas? Imagine the Palestinians resisting that kind of serious and equally capable defense for the “feckless” Palestinian Authority — against Zionist zeal and the awesome power of the American — backed ‘Star Wars’ — like power of Israel?

The people they’re sticking up transgressed far beyond “defending” Israel in the first day of their merciless and crushing invasion (called a “response”). They are now destroying the remnants of another culture — with over 21,000 dead and the rest, heart-broken, starving, thirsty and injured — with no where safe to go but where Israel wants them: in the desert; and while we listen to an empty litany of “moral” justifications & bait-and-switch lip-service — like in hearing a delusional foreign service officer of the Chinese Embassy thinking he is fooling at least the stupidest of international journalists with blather about Chinese largess and good intentions — meant to disguise their rancid concentration camp efforts to erase the Muslims of China — Israel is justifying the bombing of not just militants, but every home that the Gazans had, their hospitals, infrastructure, municipal buildings, parks, schools, markets and even the refugee camps in areas that she told them to flee to — like in the first Nakba — so they would be “safe.” Yeah: “safe“ — enough to be terrified into leaving-fooled into a temporary conscious state of security — then attacked again — and killed. You’re saturation bombing when a girl is hit three times over the course of several weeks, finally dying in the third strike — in a hospital!

Israel is even targeting journalists. And the worst of this is the a defense of their actions in the tried, yet hackneyed and useless, refrain — claiming the Palestinians are being used as human shields; if you were part of nothing but a rebellion, fighting a mighty, modern, mechanized military, what would you do? Would you build a base, separate it from where it could be hidden and put a flag on top of it, so it could be bombed in a day?

The Palestinians have no choice but to hide among the only infrastructure that they have. Last I checked, there’s no jungle in Gaza. There’s no mountaintop or valley affording a fortification or barrier. There’s no gorge. There are no forests — and no supplies to build a castle, no distant geography in which to surround it by a mote. How would this help with airborne ballistic ordinance, anyway?

I’m not sticking up for Hamas policies; I’m saying it takes an idiot- or a lying- (or both) military strategist to suggest that a rebel army which only has residential, municipal and relief areas to hide in — shouldn’t hide there. That’s what a guerrilla force does. That’s what makes it a guerrilla force. If that weren’t the case — the United States would own Vietnam — the way we ‘own’ South Korea and Japan.

It doesn’t matter what we think; I could even take their side, hypothetically, in a thought experiment (I am no friend to the messianic religious lunacy of the three big religions) — but history is going to come down on Israel with a hammer blow no lighter than when it came down on the United States for what we did in Latin America, Vietnam and Cambodia — and in Iraq… and for what Germany did to Europe and the Jews — for what Japan did to Korea and China and the Philippines — for what China does to its own and to Tibet… as history has on Mussolini, Pol pot and Franco. And rightly so.

No — the Zionists and apologists for this massacre — still have not woken up. It’s hard — but the best truth is the one that you admit to yourself — the beginning of self-love and the love of others. The Nazis lost this; what about them, Israeli children of “democracy”?
